SHACKLE SPRING BUSHING INSTALLER

The Shackle Spring Bushing Installer...for mechanics, by mechanics

Spring Valley, NY—The invention of the Shackle Spring Bushing Installer offers a creative concept for a hand tool that is designed specifically to perform the job of installing shackle spring bushings into the leaf-spring shackles in the front and rear suspension systems of buses and trucks. Designed to be manufactured and sold as a kit with five components, the Shackle Spring Bushing Installer would provide the mechanic with a precise, balanced and perfectly aligned tool or support frame for inserting and installing the bushings.

The Shackle Spring Bushing Installer was invented by Alfred C. and Mark H. of Spring Valley, New York. They state, “Our invention is designed to drive the bushings into place with an even pressure that will assure a proper fit and prevent the possibility of damage during installation. The Shackle Spring Bushing Installer provides a superior method of installing leaf-spring shackle bushings, eliminating the problems that offer occur when driving bushings in the traditional way, which frequently result in damaged bushings, bruised knuckles and another trip to the parts store.”
