... helps identify access to equipment location.
WHITE MARSH, MD— Finally! For maintenance personnel and homeowners who work with ceiling tiles there is now a system that allows easy access to certain areas without a big mess or the possibility of damaging a tile. The Retractable Ceiling Tile is fabricated in similar material to that of current ceiling tiles, but is ensconced within a light gauge sheet metal frame which serves as the track on which the tile can be slid open or closed. Two rollers are provided to accept the louvered tiles in a manner similar to that of a rolling desk top. This unique tile eliminates the need to remove and replace ceiling tiles when there is a need to access a particular area in the ceiling.
The Retractable Ceiling Tile was invented by Mark S. of White Marsh, MD. He said, “What makes the Retractable Ceiling Tile so unusual is that it simply drops into the existing ceiling grid space after removing the original tile. It is similar in appearance to the other tile but helps to identify the location of equipment which needs to be accessed on a regular basis. It provides quick and easy access and is easy to install. Best of all, when you need to reach something swiftly the Retractable Ceiling Tile enables you to reach where you need to go in a hurry.”
